Abstract

Antioxidant and adaptogenic activity of a nanostructured chitosan-gold nanoparticle system was determined on experimental animals under hypoxic conditions. Prophylactic application of the drug leads to a severalfold decrease in the concentration of final products of the lipid peroxidation process, Schiff bases in the blood plasma, and normalization of the activity of one of the key enzymes of energy metabolism, lactate dehydrogenase, after hypoxia.
