Abstract

When spaceborne SAR is in orbit, due to the large changes in satellite orbital height and ground height, the beam position parameters designed for fixed observation positions cannot be applied globally. Firstly, this paper analyzes the constraints of satellite ground geometry, system performance, satellite orbit height and ground height on the beam position parameters and proposes an adaptive wave position design method for spaceborne SAR. Based on the proposed method, a spaceborne SAR adaptive wave position design system is developed. The on orbit test results of spaceborne SAR show that the system works well.
