Abstract

The throughput and packet error rate for a selective-repeat ARQ scheme based on a constant-power variable-rate adaptive M-QAM system combined with orthogonal STBC in Nakagami Markovian channels is analysed. The impact of dwell-time on the performance of adaptive M-QAM is considered.
