Abstract

For the problem of multi-missiles intercept a maneuvering target, an adaptive sliding mode cooperative guidance law is proposed based on both consensus algorithm and adaptive sliding mode method in this paper. Firstly, the time-to-go is introduced as an extra state variable into system dynamics. Considering the system dynamics and consensus algorithm, the ‘integral sliding mode’ (ISM) variables including intercept time and light of sight (LOS) angel rate are designed, respectively. Then, the adaptive sliding mode controller is proposed in which the adaptive law can enable the switching magnitude to adapt the external disturbances. It can solve the problem that the switching magnitude can only increase in the conventional adaptive sliding mode method. And the adaptive sliding mode controller can eliminate the external disturbances brought by target maneuvering. The consensus protocols can guarantee the multi -missile intercepting the maneuvering target at the same time, with the LOS angles converge to the desired values and the LOS angle rates converge to zero. Simulation results show that the proposed cooperative guidance law is effective and robust.
