Abstract

LTE-V2V mode 4 utilizes sensing-based semipersistent scheduling (SB-SPS) to support the vehicle user equipment to autonomously select appropriate radio resources and allow the UE to be retained for several consecutive periods. Then, resource reselect is determined based on the reselection probability P k . For conventional SB-SPS, the value of P k is fixed identically for all vehicles. In this work, we introduce an improved SB-SPS scheme, which aims to adaptively adjust the value of the reselection probability P k based on the channel state information. Through simulations, we concluded that the proposed algorithm outperformed the conventional algorithm and effectively improve the performance of each scenario.
