Abstract

An analysis is made of the possibility of using adaptive optics techniques in laser interferometers. The influence of wavefront distortions, caused by atmospheric turbulence, on the operation of interferometers is studied. The problems of organization of control in adaptive interferometers are discussed. The results are given of an experimental investigation of an adaptive interferometer with correction of the wavefront tilts.
