Abstract

This paper proposes a design method of estimation of the Laguerre time scaling factor in the predictive control context. The presented approach is based on the minimization of a cost function in the frequency domain. By discretizing the continuous Laguerre network, a simple predictive control law is presented using only a system matrices of such network. This makes possible to design an adaptive predictive control for unstructured unstable systems whose priori knowledges are not available. The simulation results shows that the proposed scheme provides satisfactory performances.
