Abstract

A novel design of high-level isolation screen composed of continuously tunable resonator columns is presented. The designed structure with the dimension of 200 $\times$ 125 mm $^2$ is fabricated and experimentally tested in an anechoic chamber for decoupling two closely placed copolarized monopoles. With the help of a self-contained optimization algorithm, the decoupling system achieves a high isolation of 110 dB. Experimental results also exhibit a strong robustness of the design in environmental adaptivity.
