Abstract

SummaryIn this article, an adaptive fuzzy event‐triggered control problem of switched nonlinear systems with actuator failures under state‐dependent switchings is studied. Fuzzy logic systems are introduced to approximate the unknown nonlinear terms of the system. To reduce the wastage of communication resources, an adaptive fuzzy event‐triggered fault‐tolerant controller with a state‐dependent switching law is designed. Moreover, a modified hybrid switching law is also provided to avoid the fast switching phenomenon. In order to ensure the stability of the whole system, the convex combination technology and single Lyapunov function method are adopted. It is proved that all signals of the closed‐loop system are bounded. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is verified by simulation results.
