Abstract

In this work, the adaptive fuzzy tracking control problem is investigated for a class of uncertain nonstrict-feedback nonlinear systems accompanied time-delay terms and unknown virtual control coefficients. Within this scheme, fuzzy logic systems (FLSs) are utilized to approach to the uncertian nonlinear functions and the backstepping technique as well as Lyapunov stability theory are introduced to design the adaptive fuzzy controller. The amount of the online adaptive parameters of the control scheme does not exceed the order of the original system, which is the advantage of the scheme. The results show that the proposed adaptive fuzzy controller can ensure that all signals in the closed-loop system are bounded and the system output tracks the desired reference signals. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate the availability of our put forward control project.
