Abstract

Control of distillation column as a two inputs-two outputs system is presented. The interactions between control loops are suppressed by decoupling having a compensator placed ahead of the system. Several decoupling methods of this type are compared. The pole placement algorithm in adaptive version is then used for both simple control loops. The results of experiments on the real pilot plant distillation column are given.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
