Abstract

Abstract This paper investigates the adaptive consensus problem of multi-agent nonlinear systems with odd impulsive sequence. To reduce the required information transmitted among the nodes, the distributed impulsive control protocol is designed. Considering the unknown system parameters in real system, the adaptive control technique is also used and some novel sufficient consensus conditions are derived to achieve the consensus of multi-agent nonlinear systems. The proposed odd impulsive control can obtain larger control region than the common impulsive consensus method with fixed impulsive instants, which is more flexible and reliable in practical application. Finally, two simulations are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
