Abstract

This paper discusses the adaptive cluster synchronization problem of a class of complex dynamical networks with network failures via pinning control method. An effective adaptive scheme to tune the feedback control gain is represented based on information of the network's topology structure. The pinning control scheme is employed in designing controllers according to the nodes property for guaranteeing cluster synchronization. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, the sufficient synchronization conditions are given and proved theoretically. Finally, some numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis.
