Abstract

Power management is a very important task for every computational device regardless of wired or wireless. Battery power-draining is one of the most sensitive problems in multiple-user complex wireless Ad hoc network. The design structure of node position in the Ad hoc wireless network changes frequently according to the situations. To counter these problems, given scheme in this paper will cooperatively increase the lifetime of the network by restricting the node to participate in routing until it has enough battery power to sustain for a long time in the network. Also, it permits them only if it has no other options available to survive in network. The adaptive backup power management scheme works on basis of longtime energy-saving criteria by considering efficient route selection basis.
