Abstract

This paper studies the problem of formation flight control in Sun–Earth L2 point considering the rejection of disturbance torque and the influence of actuator failures. The problem formulation of disturbance rejection and closed-loop system stabilization with actuator failures in formation flight in Sun–Earth L2 is given. For the problem, considering the sliding mode control can completely inhibit match disturbance and the adaptive method can effectively deal with the disturbance without energy boundaries, synthesizing the adaptive technique and backstepping control technique, synthesizing the sliding mode control technique and the adaptive technique; two corresponding fault-tolerant controllers are designed to reduce the influence of disturbing torque respectively. The two controllers can ensure the closed-loop stability and the performance of disturbance attenuation. A simulation is carried out to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
