There was a signifi cant relationship between age and incidence of depressive symptoms (p=0.001), and a statistically signifi cant difference between education level and incidence of depressive symptoms were found in sex workers(p=0.01). Logistic regression analysis performed using variables that have p-value less than 0.1 show that increasing age causes increase ofrisk of depressive symptoms. Conclusion: In our study on sex workers, as the duration of working in the sector increased and the age of starting the profession decreased, rates of depressive symptoms increased.
