Abstract

We present the case of 51-year-old man with stricturing Crohn's disease of the jejunum and ileum who underwent jejunal resection and creation of a latero-lateral anastomosis. The patient had a history of steroid-dependent disease and was inappropriately treated with azathioprine, complicated by vertebral collapse. Adalimumab administered subcutaneously was used because of the persistence of active disease.
