Abstract
In this work, information about Switzerland’s culture and literary history is given. The study discusses whether we can speak of an original Swiss literature within the frame of socio-cultural, historical and even geographical characteristics, a situation that is still debated in light of the conceptsof “World Literature” and “National Literature”.
