Abstract

Abstract : This report summarized the technical issues that affected the way the Ada Joint Program Office (AJPO) conducted the Ada compiler validation process during fiscal year 1991. These issues are limited to interpretations of Ada language rules, as they are implemented in conformity test programs, and the expected behavior of Ada compilers. The majority of the validation issues that arose pertained to a limited class of language constructs or a particular Ada compiler and hardware and software environment. This report documents IDA's work in fiscal year 1991 addressing the test disputes, validation reports, and compiler registration requests.
