Abstract
After eight years as Baltimore City Community College's Athletics Director and Head Women's Basketball Coach, Tara A. Owens shifted to athletics administration in September 2018 when she became the AD at Central State University, a historically Black university in Division II. “I enjoy the environment and the impact,” said Owens, a former DI basketball player and now the only female AD in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
