Abstract

We present an unusual case report of a pregnant patient with recurrent attacks of acute pancreatitis due to cholecystolithiasis. Acute pancreatitis in pregnancy is a rare disease. Unlike the non-pregnant population, it is characterized by a high recurrence rate. Acute pancreatitis during pregnancy has a negative effect on both the mother and the fetus. The treatment is modified depending on the trimester of pregnancy.
