Abstract

This paper gives an overview of the endovascular treatment of acute limb ischemia. Clinical findings and selection criteria will be discussed briefly. The advantages and disadvantages as well as the clinical success rates and complications of pharmacologic and mechanical thrombolysis and aspiration thromboembolectomy will be covered.
