Abstract

Gastrostomy tube (g-tube) replacement following initial percutaneous endoscopic placement is a common procedure and is performed routinely in emergency departments and a variety of outpatient settings. Local infection, false tract formation, and peritonitis are well-recognized complications of this procedure.
