Abstract

Article history: Received 1 February 2015 Accepted 7 March 2015 Available online 10 March 2015 vision, dyspnea, nausea, and vomiting. Her vital signs were: blood pressure, 60/30mm Hg; pulse, 109bpm; temperature, 38.3 °C; respiratory rate, 20 breaths/min; and saturation while receiving 2 L of oxygen, 98%. Physical examination revealed a maculopapular rash, no rhonchi in the lungs, no heart murmur, and gangrene was seen at the base of the fourth and fifth toes of the left foot. Electrocardiography revealed ST-segment elevation in leads II, III and aVF and ST depression in leads V1–3 (Fig. 1).
