Abstract Intracranial hemorrhage following carotid artery stenting is a recognized rare complication but with potentially devastating evolution. Reports of acute cerebral hemorrhage injury following internal carotid artery (ICA) angioplasty are few, and usually were discussed in correlation with hyperperfusion syndrome.
