Abstract

A 6-year-old girl presented with abdominal pain, absolute constipation, and bilious vomiting of 1-week duration. Physical examination revealed a tender and distended abdomen, and there was no alopecia. There was associated microcytic, hypochromic blood picture on the peripheral blood smear with serum iron 31 μg/dL (range, 37–145). An abdominal computed tomography was done (Figure 1). What is your diagnosis?
