Abstract
This article is a brief overview of an acute industrial rehabilitation service, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the work-related injury. This comprehensive center should offer services to companies consisting of pre-employment physical examination, drug testing, acute care of industrial injuries, acute and chronic rehabilitation services, educational programs at both the company and clinic, as well as consultation with the companies in regard to establishing prevention programs.
