Abstract

Acute haemorragic encephalomyelitis (AHEM) is the most severe form of acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM) and is rare. A comprehensive diagnostic workup including a brain biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis as it mimics primary and secondary CNS tumours.
