Abstract

The endoplasmic reticulum membranes of mouse liver have been shown to contain antigenic components which are affected by single injections of the hepato-carcinogen o-AAT. One of these antigens decreased in concentration after carcinogen treatment and another increased. Similar changes were not induced by the non-carcinogenic p-AAT, but o-AAT incorporated in the diet did affect these antigens during the early stages ( 2 weeks) of feeding.
