Abstract
Objective To investigate memory disorder after acute cerebralvascular disease (ACVD) . Methods It was tested with Wechsler Memory Scale(WMS) that immediate, short- and long-term memory(IM STM and LTM),as well as memory quotient(MQ). Results IM STM,LTM and MQ in each group were significantly lower than that of control, comparison of scale score between cerebral haemorrhage (CH) and infarct, left and right and both brain global (LBG RBG and BBG), single and multiple lacunar infarction and single infarction(SLI, MLI and SI) hadn't significant different. But memory defect of CH.RBG BBG and SI were mainly middle or severe. Conclusions ACVD induced memory damage primary on STM and LTM but IM, The site of focus has no markedly effects on the degree of memory defects.
