Abstract

Moxibustion was used in predominance in acute stage. Shallow needling technique plus electric stimulation was used in the restoration stage. Comprehensive therapy of acupuncture and massage was used in the sequels stage. 21 cases were cured in the acute stage. 101 cases were cured in the restoration stage. 10 cases were cured in the sequels stage. The results indicate that the restoration stage is a key moment for treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.
