Abstract

The modern sphere of education is continuously being transformed. Rapid digitalization, the introduction of innovative educational practices, as well as a characteristic portrait of a modern student who grew up in a digital environment, lead to a change in the nature of teaching. The position of the teacher in the educational process is also changing, acquiring the features of an organizer, tutor, coach, etc. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the currently relevant concepts in teaching- the components of a teacher's professiogram and professional mobility. The review and analysis of scientific works of recent years in the fields of professiology of education and new educational practices has been carried out. Based on the results, professional and personal qualities relevant for a teacher and the problems actual for teachers nowadays are highlighted. The actual trends of advanced training of specialists are indicated - teacher mobility in the digital environment and in the field of educational technologies.
