Abstract

This article aims to show the path that the research group working on «The history of printed materials in Mexico in the 19th century» (Historia de la edicion en Mexico en el siglo xix) has followed at Instituto Mora in Mexico. This paper refers to the importance of printed materials as a cultural representation in Mexico. Furthermore, it also focuses on visualizing the actors responsible for the production and circulation of printed material in the city of Mexico and on discovering cultural transfers occurring between Mexico and Europe.
