Abstract

Currently, Pseudomonas aeruginosa is the leading causative agent of nosocomial infections in Russia. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is characterized by a high level of resistance to antibacterial drugs that are used to treat infections in the hospital. To date, the issue of the greatest clinical significance is the growth of resistance of nosocomial isolates to antipseudomonal penicillins and carbapenems, which requires monitoring the level of resistance to antimicrobial agents in this pathogen to optimize the starting regimens of antibiotic therapy. Purpose of the study. To assess the pharmacodynamic parameters of carbapenem antibacterial drugs for nosocomial infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa in the Russian Federation.
