Abstract

It is 1655 and you are living in England, a supporter of the deposed royal family. Such a political persuasion might mean your life if it were known to the anti royalist authorities. Nevertheless, you carry a portrait of the executed king, Charles I, with you at all Limes. Although everyone knows what Charles I looked like, you are confident that you will not be arrested. Why not? Simple—since this portrait was done in an anamorphic-art style, it cannot be recognized by anyone who does not know the secret of anamorphic art.
