Abstract
The study investigated the “Activities of Youth Association and Community Development” in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State”. Three null hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Literature review was carried out based on the variables of the study. The research design adopted was the ex-post-facto research design. A sample of one hundred and fifty (150) respondents were drawn from the population of one thousand, five hundred (1,500) respondents. The sampling technique adopted for this study was the simple random sampling technique. The main instrument used for data collection was the questionnaire. Pearson Product Moment Correlation analysis was employed for data analyses and results tested at .05 level of significance. The result showed that there was significant relationship between building of classroom blocks, clearing of roads and building of market squares by the youth association members and community development in the study area. Recommendations were made based on the findings of the study.
