Abstract

A differential input operational amplifier is used with a passive R-C two-port at its input to realize a class of transfer functions of any order with simple poles on the negative real axis and zeros anywhere on the complex plane. The synthesis scheme is a slightly modified form of Dutta Roy's realization of active all-pass filters using a DIOA. Illustrative examples of typical cases have been given.
