Abstract

In this letter we make use of a novel multiple feedback active RC filter structure in which the feedback path is realized in a parallel form. The parallel feedback structure was originally applied to the design of low-round-off-noise digital filters with dynamic range control. Most of these attractive properties result from the appropriate use of several degrees of freedom that are available in the design process. In the proposed active RC filter implementation scheme we show how to use these degrees of freedom to minimize the sensitivity measure while satisfying the dynamic range constraints
