Abstract

This paper presents an active compensation method of mechanical and aerodynamic vibrations for high speed switched reluctance machines (SRM). This method consists in sticking two piezoelectric bars on the external surface of the stator. These ones are controlled considering the vibratory acceleration of a particular structure point. This method allows the reduction of the vibratory acceleration due to aerodynamic, mechanical and magnetic phenomena of the studied structure and then the decrease of generated acoustic noise.
