Abstract

Active mode locking in a long-resonator laser was performed using regular domain structures. Intracavity conversion of the output radiation to the second harmonic was achieved by such modulation. The width of the emission spectrum was measured. A negative feedback loop was used to increase the duration of a train of pulses under active mode-locking conditions.
