Abstract

Active methodologies constitute a teaching-learning strategy based on problematization with the objective of reaching and motivating the student, who, faced with a problem, analyzes, reflects and decides on a given situation, showing active involvement in their training process. The objective of this work is to report the experience of the active methodologies discipline applied to Health Education, included in a master's degree course. Reflections were promoted based on welcoming dynamics, dialogued exhibitions and group work addressing the practices of active methodologies in the teaching-learning process. It is concluded that it is essential to incorporate innovative methodologies in Health Education, in order to promote the training of professionals with a profile that meets the demands of the SUS and current society.
