Abstract
Photovoltaic power generation system gradually develops toward high density and multi-point access. However, the traditional islanding detection method, especially the active method, is not ideal for the detection of multi-inverter in distributed power generation system. In this paper, the Sandia frequency shift (SFS) is used to analyze the adverse effects of dilution and high load quality factor on the islanding detection. Then, it proposes an improved Sandia frequency shift method. The simulation model is established in MATLAB/Simulink environment. The results show that the detection method can achieve fast and precise islanding detection.
