Abstract
Further to Ian Peate’s comprehensive article on the clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment of syphilis (learning zone November 14), researchers in London examined the incidence, presentation and sexual behaviour of gay men diagnosed with early syphilis at the Royal Free Hospital HIV department in 2002.
