Abstract
Active cruise control is available in the BMW 3, 5, 6 and 7 Series. A further development, the so-called active cruise control with stop&go function (ACC-Stop&Go), is now offered for the current model updates of the BMW 5 and 6 Series. This new system makes driving much less tiresome, especially in situations that are regarded as particularly unpleasant, such as traffic congestions and stop-and-go traffic with frequent set-offs.
