Abstract

In order to resolve the problems of low tracking accuracy and weak self-protection in armored vehicle systems, an active and passive on- armored vehicle radar tracking system is presented. To further satisfy the operational requirements for armored vehicle systems, this paper presents the method of setting the passive radar in the tracking system for it to work in both the active mode and the passive mode. In the active and passive radar tracking system, the key technology is data association, but the traditional data association algorithm cannot work very well in clutter and motor environment, so it is not suitable for the armored vehicle system. This paper introduces an interacted multisensor joint probabilistic data association algorithm (IMM-MSJPDA) into on- armored vehicle radar tracking system, the adaptability and mobility of this algorithm is strong, and its tracking accuracy is high in clutter. Simulations are designed to test the algorithm, and the results prove that the performance of IMM-MSJPDA algorithm in on-armored vehicle radar tracking system is functional, so IMM-MSJPDA algorithm is practicable and effective.
