Abstract

1. Both full and partial esters of antimonous acid are able to undergo transesterification when treated with alcohols or carboxylic esters. 2. Carboxylic acids react with antimonous esters with formation of mixed anhydrides. 3. Eight antimonous esters that have not been described previously were synthesized. 4. Dialkoxychorostibines can undergo transesterification with higher alcohols with formation of dialkoxychlorostibines containing higher alkyl radicals.
