Action de differents sulfures et rôle des impuretes dans la formation des phases de “Ga 2S 3”. Preparation de Ga 2S 3α′ monoclinique

Abstract

The influence of addition of sulphides and oxysulphides to α′Ga 2S 3 is studied. In Ga 2S 3α′ rich mixture one obtains either glasses with Ag 2S, Na 2S, Tl 2S, PbS, R 2S 3, R 2O 2S (R = La to Er), GeS 2, or solid solution of wurtzite or sphalerite with Ag 2S, Tl 2S, Na 2S, MnS, FeS, CdS, CoS, NiS. The preparation of pure α′Ga 2S 3 in powder or single crystal form starting from GaO(OH) is described. The influence of impurities is pointed out as well as the action of potassium halides.
