Abstract
Actinomycosis is an infection caused by filamentous, gram positive anaerobic bacteria. Actinomycosis of jaw bone is rare and its diagnosis is often difficult. Incidence of Actinomyces infectionin mandible is 53.6%. This case report presents an actinomycotic osteomyelitis of mandible in a 55- year-old male patient presented withpain and multiple extra-oral sinuses (in right submandibular region) which was treated successfully with surgery and medication.
