Abstract
Feeding slime mould amoebae are of very low cohesiveness. Their cohesiveness increases abruptly in the two hours following cessation of feeding. No further marked increase in cohesiveness could be detected up to and including the chemotactic aggregation stage, though there may be an additional small progressive increase.
