Abstract

SummarySix cases of acquired sideroblastic anaemia are reported. Two of the cases were related to the absorption of Isoniazid; four were idiopathic. The clinical picture and biological data (presence of ring sideroblasts, dimorphic erythrocytes, erythropoietic hyperplasia of the bone marrow, hypersideraemia, hemosiderosis, refractory anaemia related to pyridoxine and folic acid) are reported and discussed; the nosological significance is examined.
